3. In Tsukishima, an area called “Monja Street” features more than 70 monja restaurants. Thus, Tsukishima is also known as “monja town.”
4. Monja flavor usually has a Worcestershire sauce base. Recently, however, sweet flavors like strawberry-milk monja are becoming popular.
How to make monja:
1. Thoroughly mix batter and chopped ingredients.
2. Place ingredients separately on the grill and cook to form a donut shape.
3. Pour a small amount of batter into the donut hole and gradually add more.
4. After a while, break the donut into the batter and mix everything together.
5. Use a small spatula to flatten the mixture into a pancake, and then use it to eat directly from the grill.
Note: Monja is very hot right after cooking. Be careful eating.
