Biwako Valley features leisure spots at an altitude of 1,100 meters. This is the location to visit if you want to gaze on Lake Biwa and its surrounding nature right before your eyes. To get to Biwako Valley you need to take the cable car. It is Japan’s fastest at 12 meters per second, climbing a height of 782.23 meters in no time. The cable car can carry up to 121 people, and is surrounded on all sides by glass so you can thoroughly enjoy the scenery. Come enjoy the beautiful scenery that changes with each season.

Biwako Valley features a variety of appealing activities for each season. The best activity during the “green season” from spring to autumn is the “Zip-line”. Strap on a safety harness and hang from the cable for a thrilling ride down the line. Feel the wind blast by your body as you experience an undeniably thrilling and exhilarating ride. The “Skywalker” is another popular attraction where you clear traps on top of trees several meters tall while enjoying amazing scenery. This is the best place to enjoy skiing on a trip to the Kansai area
