Wake up with the rising sun; enjoy star-filled skies at night.

Mountains such as Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps stretch majestically through the prefecture; Yamanashi also offers beautiful plateau meadowlands such as Kiyosato and Kobuchisawa. If you’re looking for a place to stay, we recommend somewhere which lets you feel close to nature, such as a pension or campground. The view in such places in particular is truly a treat. Wake to the songs of birds and spend relaxing evenings gazing at star-filled skies. You’ll be surprised to find that such lush nature can be found just one to two hours away from Tokyo.
